Hunan Hualian China Industry Co, Ltd was founded in 1966 as a state owned factory and made a joint venture with Malaysia Marcolink Group in 1994. In 1985, Hualian began the research and development of colorful stoneware and has been the leader in this field. Now, Hualian has 8 factories with about 6500 employees. Its turnover in 2010 is about RMB800 million and about 70% is from exporting. It has been the biggest exporter in ceramics in China since 2004. The main products of Hualian ceramics are stoneware, porcelain, terracotta, pottery etc. Hualian has been a famous brand and its products has been very popular in more than 100 countries.

Hualian China is deeply rooted in Liling, one of the three Chinese capitals of ceramics. It has the grand ambition of reviving national ceramic industry with the pioneering spirit as leader of new ceramics life. Hualian China is dedicated to promote the fine traditions, to innovate ceramic culture, to develop ceramic products with better quality and higher aesthetic values, and to make unremitting endeavor to enrich and improve the material and spiritual life of all human beings.

For many years, Hualian China has been one of the compilers of Technical Guidance of Household Ceramics Export from China; one of the revisers of National Standards GB13121, GB/T5009 and Export Household Ceramics Quality & Safety Manual; the second director of CCCLA-Ceramics Sub-chamber, and deputy director of China Ceramics Industry Association. It has also been titled with one of the Vanguard Enterprises of Chinese Industry and one of the Top 10 Efficient Enterprises of Priority in China for many consecutive years. It has won many honors, such as Famous Brand for Export from China, Hi- and New-tech Enterprise, Famous Brand in China and others in a row.

Hualian China has also won the highest awards in Chinese ceramic industry such as "Shanhua Award (Mountain Flower Award)"and "Huoxingren Gold Award (Flaming Man Award)". The many awards have witnessed the glorious history of Hualian`s great-leap-forward development and its extraordinary industry status and social influence.

Since 2008, it has become a franchised producer and seller for Beijing Olympic Games, Shanghai World Expo 2010 and Guangzhou Asian Games 2010, and began to implement its strategic plan for domestic market.
